You can keep your dogma
Don’t try and give it to me

You put it in a wooden box
Tie a ribbon around it
And call it spirituality

But still I can smell
The sickly sweet odour
Of rotting fruit

So you’ve got the answers
Well I never asked you
The questions

Leave me with my uncertainties
They are wild
And fertile
And beautiful
